EXPORT COSTS AND TAXES
The cost for a shipment differ from destination to destination. You need to pay the cargo forwarder for collecting the prefab parts at our yard, local transport costs to his warehouse, packing, handling, container stuffing and the ocean freight. On top of this you need to pay export taxes to the Government which will be collected by the cargo forwarder.
The export of wooden houses, gazebos, etc. requires a permit from the Minister of Forestry. Prior to the release of such export permit, a full inspection needs to be carried out by an agency appointed by the government to verify that the goods to be exported comply with the guidelines and specifications for export.
Once all inspection procedures have been completed, a certificate called V-Legal Wood + LS is issued, confirming the shipment is cleared for export.
