TYPE OF WOOD SPECIES GENERALLY USED FOR OUR PROJECTS
Below you will find an overview of the wood species that we generally use for our projects.
A. STRUCTURAL WOOD
The following parts of the prefab structure will use tropical Bangkirai hardwood, unless otherwise noted:
Columns
Pedestals
Main flooring beams (headers)
Sub-flooring beams (joists)
Exterior decking (Bangkirai or Merbau)
Roof trusses and truss support beams (tropical Camphor wood)
Cross wind bracing in the roof (tropical Camphor wood)
Cross stability and wind bracing in siding (tropical Camphor wood)
Roof rafters (tropical Camphor wood)
B. NON-STRUCTURAL WOOD
The following parts of the prefab structure will use tropical Camphor hardwood:
Interior flooring
Siding framing
Sidings
Partitions Roof purlins
Stairs & fences
